Chase Center was built in 2019 and is home to the 7-Time NBA Champion Golden State Warriors. After opening it’s doors shortly before the Pandemic, DGC re-introduced Chase Center to fans and the Bay Community by creating a new brand Identity and launch campaign to excite and energize crowds to come out and experience the power of live entertainment once again.

BRANDING A STATE OF THE ART ARENA, AN ARCHITECTURAL WONDER AND THE EPICENTER OF ENTERTAINMENT BY THE BAY.

Take a tour through Chase Center’s halls, venues and the arena itself and you’ll feel and see something far different and unique than any stadium or arena experience. The space is designed to engage and excite it’s visitors from the moment they step up to the outside common grounds to the moment they take their seats and the show begins.

The interior has a flow and presence that brings connection. Connecting fans to the teams and entertainers they love, and connecting the community to the Bay.

Chase Center is not just home court to the Warriors, one of the great Championship Dynasties in NBA history, but has become a seminal stage for the World’s most famous acts and entertainers. The A-list of performers who have made Chase Center their home includes Metallica, Billie Eilish, Lizzo and Joe Koy to name just a few.

In the life span of any arena or sporting venue, Chase Center is still a new entity on the scene in the Bay Area. The Arena was in need of a major re-introduction to the community once the doors re-opened after the Pandemic put pause to live entertainment. DGC created a new, iconic identity and visual language campaign that allows people a peek inside, to find out for themselves what makes a night out at Chase Center so special and an evening that will live forever in memory.

CREATING AN ICONIC VISUAL IDENTITY FOR AN ICONIC ARENA AND FAN COMMUNITY.

The “Portal” icon was designed to represent the form and architecture of the Arena itself. A graphic footprint of the building that can be seen from above as well as through the sweeping angles of Chase Center’s outer walls.

The Portal Icon works as a frame, or a window to showcase the events, spectacles and excitement that occur in this state of the art venue as well as offer an outsider’s view into what can only be experienced within these walls on any given night.

The Portal Icon has a dynamic shape that becomes an identifiable marker in the community and Bay area, visually connecting all events, campaigns, promotions and informative communications.

BRANDING AND VISUAL IDENTITY

The Chase Center Footprint Icon is used throughout all arena communications, event promotions, sponsorships, interior signage, and way finding. The mark itself offers those on the outside a portal into the spectacular shows and performances that the Arena hosts nightly, and a campaign that pulls you in to feel and experience it all live.
